The athletic programs at Canyon Heights Academy are age-appropriate and are designed for all students to participate in school-sponsored activities regardless of ability level, challenging them to develop to their highest potential. Physical activity lifts the spirit, relaxes the mind and, most of all, brings enjoyment.
All of our teams promote sportsmanship, confidence, determination, and physical development. Student athletes are expected to excel in the classroom and on the field, to carry themselves with poise, and to honor their families and their school. Our coaches are carefully chosen to be mentors and role models for our student athletes. Students will be able to play more than one sport depending on their interest and ability in elementary, middle and high school.
The athletic department is in the process of building a diversified sports program that includes a competitive array of sports in both the boys and the girls programs. Elementary school students can participate in recreational and intramural programs. Middle School athletics advance to competitive teams in the Diocesan leagues. Current and planned sports include Taekwondo, Basketball, Volleyball and Baseball.
